Moraga is nestled east of Orinda and south of Lafayette and is part of the Lamorinda area. Even though Moraga’s history dates back to the 1800s, it wasn’t incorporated until 1974.

Moraga is nestled east of Orinda and south of Lafayette and is part of the Lamorinda area. Even though Moraga’s history dates back to the 1800s, it wasn’t incorporated until 1974. 
 
Moraga is a picturesque small town with no direct freeway access, but plenty of rolling hills, parks and trails. 
 
Events throughout the year feature a film festival, Easter egg hunt, and Cinco de Mayo celebration. Moraga is also home to St. Mary’s College of California, a Catholic university that moved to Moraga in 1928.
