It's So Hard to Say Goodbye

Our clients lived in this home for over twenty years. That's a real milestone. How many meals do you think were shared over this table? How many memories were made in this kitchen? How many stories were told about their day while they made dinner together? 

I am always in awe of the decision our clients make to sell their house. I recognize what a tremendous decision it is to move on from a home. A place of safety, solace, family, memories, and hopefully lots of love. Multiply that over two decades and it can be emotional when it comes time to make such a change. 

I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to guide our clients through this time in their life. We work to bring comfort, convenience, confidence, and ease to what may be an overwhelming experience. The hardest part becomes when clients become friends, yet we know they are moving away. We have worked so closely over these last months that we inevitably miss them, even as we wish them the best on their next move. 

And then I think about the next house they will make a home. I think about the next kitchen, and the next table, and the next memories they will make together there. Whether that's down the street or across the country, I'm excited for them to begin their next chapter.
